Lincoln National Forest - Public Meeting
The USDA Forest Service invites the public to attend a virtual public meeting to learn more about the Draft Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement as part of the Forest Plan Revision process. The Forest Plan will guide forest management practices for the 1.1 million-acre Lincoln National Forest in Southern New Mexico for the next 10 to 15 years.
Participants will have time to ask questions and make official comments during the meeting.
Written and electronic comments will be accepted during the formal comment period from August 6, 2021, until November 5, 2021. Project documents, including the draft land management plan and draft environmental impact statement, and a link to comment are available at https://www.fs.usda.gov/project/?project=45148. Hard copies of the draft land management plan are available at the Lincoln National Forest Supervisor’s Office in Alamogordo and at all district offices.
